L.A. Computer Company
is a Apple Authorized Service Center. We work on the entire Apple line, warranty or out of warranty.
Our Apple Certified knowledgeable technicians get your equipment back up and running.
We have several types of Service’s available.
Carry-in Service
: Bring it in, no appointment necessary! Mon. thru Fri. 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM & Sat. 11 AM to 3 PM (Click here for directions).
Pickup And Delivery
: Call 714-630-8200. Our staff will take your information and schedule your pickup. If the machine is under Warranty please attach invoice or AppleCare paperwork and any other pertinent paperwork or notes. That’s it! L.A. Computer Company staff will pick up the machine(s) and return it (them) after the repairs are completed. Fee: $45 round trip, FREE with AppleCare coverage (excluding PowerBooks and iBooks).
On-Site Service
: Call 714-630-8200. Our service staff will take your information and forward it to our on-site technician. The technician will then call you back as soon as possible to schedule the appointment.
On-site repair labor is billed at an hourly rate. Our standard on-site labor rate is $125. No additional travel fees are required for on-site service. On-site service includes: software/hardware troubleshooting & repair, training, consultation, networking, systems-integration, server-administration, etc.Some hardware repairs are not practical to do on-site. If the process of the repair is considered dangerous, or would require equipment not available for on-site use, we then recommend pick-up & delivery service.
In-Store Repair Workflow
: When a machine comes in, it is checked into our service queue. In a maximum of 2 business days the technician will call you with a full diagnosis. If the problem is completely covered by Warranty or AppleCare no charges will be involved. If the problem is not covered under warranty, the technician will give you a full repair estimate including parts and labor. If you decline the repair, a $60.00 diagnostic fee will apply. If you approve the repair you pay for parts, labor and the $60.00 diagnostic fee is waived. Once the repair is completed you will be called. Payment will be due when you pickup your machine.
Warranty & AppleCare
: L.A. Computer Company is a Apple Authorized Service Center for warranty and AppleCare service.You do not need to call Apple to have a repair scheduled, call us! For warranty and AppleCare covered issues there is NO CHARGE for repair service. If the machine is under Warranty please bring in the invoice or AppleCare paperwork and any other pertinent paperwork or notes.The original Apple warranty and the extended AppleCare warranty covers break fix. Parts and labor associated with the repair are also covered. Items NOT covered under warranty include, but are not limited to: Troubleshooting software corruption and conflicts, dirty, dusty, or abused machines, third party products and related software or anything that has become jammed in printer, CD drives, floppy drives, etc
Extending Your Warranty
: Any equipment currently under Apple’s one-year manufacturer warranty may be extended for 2 additional years under AppleCare. Read our AppleCare section for more information. Once your one-year warranty has expired, you are not eligible to purchase AppleCare.
Out-Of-Warranty
: Has your warranty expired? No problem! L.A. Computer Company works on the entire Apple line, warranty or out of warranty. Our rates are $90.00/hr labor, plus parts.
Other Services
: L.A. Computer Company is an Authorized Service Center for Hewlett Packard and Lexmark.
